It needs to be a lot more fluid than your normal drawing, the whole back of a car needs to be very fluid and flexible, so you can use it for both left and right. I actually used [the] same tool I used for the front of my computer. In the second step, I just drew two lines. I just made two lines going from the front to the back of the car. You need something to be more flexible in that, so the back of the car needs to be softer and have more shape, the sides of the car have to be more concave. The middle of the car has to be like a rounded lip over the nose of the car, so the lip has to be more curved in that, as well. A very smooth surface and no big bumps to look out of.

I think that was a big turning point for me, I thought the back of the car needed to be more curved and have more shape. I think that was a very important part of it, just the shape of that.

We had to make sure that in the back of the car we wanted to have those curves coming down from the nose to the sides to the bottom of the car. And of course all the way up to the top. Of course, we had to make sure every angle was in exactly the right place of the car but also that they were a good amount of arc so that there would be none of the angle going across the top of the car. In the original concept of the car, it had very nice curved sides and a nice concave at the end, we were going to let that be the end of the car but not in its entire design. We were going to do some modifications to the rear end of that end of the car to reduce the number of angles that were going over to the sides to the top, but that would be done later with the new design.
