Is 19 too old to learn guitar? – How To Learn Guitar Fast Youtube Download

While one might argue you should continue learning guitar after this age, I feel you should get rid of the concept of age as an obstacle to be overcome. Age is a concept that is used for several purposes. Firstly, it helps to create a set of expectations. If you’re going to stop learning guitar before you’re 20, you will be more experienced in playing guitar! Also, it is often used to prevent you from having a “bad” start. Many people feel that they have to stop playing guitar at 20 years of age (or more) just in the name of preventing a bad start. For me, I could go from having never ever learned guitar to playing my band every night for five years, and then stop at 21. To force to stop would be to force to grow more old, or a bit more of me…

I like to think that “we all play guitar at different age”. It may be because that’s how I was raised, or it may be because I’m more comfortable now as a 20 year old, so I’m not as apprehensive, and want to continue learning. Regardless, it has become more and more difficult for me to stop and learn, and I don’t want to force my body to stop developing. So I have to figure out a way to figure out an appropriate time to stop. However, it doesn’t mean that I’m going to stop. I still feel like playing guitar and playing shows every night, is my life’s goal.

If we were just talking about a beginner, then I would say yes, 18 year old’s should definitely play guitar. I am still learning too, as it is one of the more difficult things which requires a lot of work on the part of the musician. However as I’m approaching 50, I’m learning the piano, the piano is a far more advanced form of music. And just because someone has spent the majority of their life playing the piano, it doesn’t mean they can’t play guitar. The one major reason why I would say yes to 18 year olds, is because they are physically able to play guitar, and are learning and developing their instrument.

I feel the most appropriate age to take up the guitar would be 40 or more. People have the potential to learn guitar, but they never stop learning to play it, they continue to apply the piano to the guitar, and play shows. They don’t stop making music until they are 80. If
