That means in just under 6 months of making the video I have raised nearly $4,500. That is a huge amount of money as I was on a shoestring budget, as I said at the top of this post.
The video was made in just 3 days, meaning that I have a small amount of time left to make the rest of the video. I also have an opportunity to do something completely new for my favorite video game ever, Starbound. As a result I am able to devote more time to the video, create a new style of gameplay, and go beyond how anyone has ever gone before.
How did you get the idea for this video?
As with any other video, I really just had a general idea. I’ve been playing on my Xbox Live Indie games channel for a while, playing a mix of PC, Xbox 360, Playstation, Wii, and 3DS. As I got older I stopped playing a lot of games, but still find time to play games that aren’t released at all. I thought I could find a way to enjoy the games that I was missing.
As I had a lot of video related websites I started to do some Googling, and realized there isn’t much free gameplay footage online for indie games. A few games even came close to making it to the point where their gameplay videos were good, but had the video quality taken off and it wasn’t really enough to make it into their YouTube channel yet. So I started getting interested.
So you’re making a game where you can use your Xbox Live avatar to kick a cow or something?
That’s right. I created a website that I created to share that gameplay footage. It is called “The Horse Kick Challenge” which is similar to “The Horse Kick Challenge”. It is a simple website built as a website which I made myself, which can be found by going to www.thehorsekickchallenge.com.
The horse in my game is a horse called “Pawman” and I had been playing other games on my Xbox Live Indie games channel which used to be called “Lola’s Arcade” so when Paddle Fish came out I took a chance. I had never really been able to play the original games on my own. I found the gameplay videos they had and decided to try it out
