You can buy one at many stores these days, but there are only a few that actually offer a range of features including video recording features, video chat, and lots of features.
The camera itself is very good, and it’s just a matter of finding a camera that fits your situation best. The only catch was that the camera required a few changes, and they required a bit of elbow grease.
The first and most important thing is to install an external microphone, because you’ll need it every time you do any social media or streaming.
The camera itself comes with a microphone that you can use, but to get it onto your monitor you’ll need to buy a little stand that clips to a mount. Again, these will not clip to the cameras cable, which means that you’ll need a separate audio cable just to transmit audio to your speakers.
I chose to use the Vuzix Zoom Audio-in Audio Stereo Digital Video Stereo Monitor mount I get from the link below, because it clips on very nicely to the camera and is lightweight. It also has rubber feet which helps prevent your feet from slipping while you’re pushing through corners.

Next up was replacing the SD slot from the original camera with a Micro-SD Slot 2 card from a Micro-SD/SDHC card reader. It is more than half the size of an SD card so it fits in a little bit of pocket and is very easy to carry.
The SD slot is mounted on the bottom of the Micro-SD card holder, and it’s not exactly a sturdy mount, but overall it’s pretty sturdy.
Finally, since I’m moving my PC from a Mac Pro to a laptop, installing Photoshop CS6 was essential. To do that, I bought a Creative Cloud for Photoshop on the Mac to make an image on my computer and then transferred it to my Mac using my Mac’s SD card to make this image on my Mac.
The image I’m making is a screenshot of Photoshop CS6 and the Creative Cloud version of it is in the above images below. After doing this, I did a few screen shots using Windows 7 and I transferred that screenshot into Windows 10.
Once I transferred the screenshot, Photoshop CS6 was automatically installed. It’s a great app to use, but one note: Photoshop CS6 will not run unless you are connected to the internet and have the latest Photoshop version.
