“We don’t like ‘Ride Of My Life,'” he told me with a heavy sigh. “It’s a big bummer, because the video would make you want to jump. But when we did it, it was almost like a dream.”
The song was originally written in the early 2000s and never got out of the studio for some reason. Now the lyrics have become a sort of anthem to the kind of hard work and dedication that can sometimes mean the difference between success and failure. In the song’s final verse, RZA states that he has not failed anyone in his life and that the record will not be about failure.
“I will always fail if I try,” he said with a hint of defeat in his voice. “I just wish I had done it sooner. If I didn’t, I would’ve done it with joy. And that’s how it’s gonna be today, for the rest of my career. And that’s a good place to be.”

The official website for the television anime of Akatsuki no Yona ‘s Yona of the Dawn anime revealed the title on Tuesday: The Beautiful Country of a Thousand Eyes . The anime will premiere on TV Tokyo on Mon., July 17, at 22:30 (effectively, on Wednesday, July 18). The series will premiere on TV Osaka on Sat., June 29, at 05:30 (effectively, on Tuesday, June 30).
Toei Animation will animate the new original work, and its storyboard and art director are Hideaki Nishikawa , and Takaya Nagase . Hirol Yamanura ( The World God Only Knows , Yowamushi Pedal ) is directing the series at Madhouse . Yuusuke Kuroda ( Gintama , Gintama: The Final Chapter , Yowamushi Pedal , Gintama II ) is writing the scripts.
