What are the drawing techniques?

First, let’s establish what I mean by drawing techniques in any context.

An artist is a skilled artist. You shouldn’t worry too much about what the technique of your drawings is. It doesn’t matter. It’s the skill in drawing that matters. That’s the important key. You don’t want your art to look like your average art, because then you don’t get the job.

So what is a technique? For many people, drawing isn’t about the drawing itself. It’s about making the drawing look like another piece of art. For myself, it’s about how my drawings look when I look at them.

These are my drawing techniques:

Chalk- I use chalk to write in pencil. I like to use a special chalk called Bickel’s Ink for it’s color intensity. This is one way that I’ve found that my drawing looks better:

Penciling- I draw by drawing in pencil on scrap paper. I also use penciling. Again, something to pay attention to.

Coloring- In school, we were taught how to color by drawing the outline and then coloring it, so we learned to paint in a single color. Well, we weren’t able to do that. And I think that we
