What is live sketching? – Graphite Pencil Drawing Techniques

Live sketching is a technique that allows you to capture a very real person from their perspective. For instance, if you’re talking to someone and you are standing about a foot and a half away from them, you could be capturing them with your camera without them noticing it.

If someone is standing next to you, it’s unlikely that they would be able to see the live sketch or they would have to guess.

Live sketching also works well when:

You have a lot of footage when you’re recording the person.

You’re being recorded in a live environment.

You have no cameras with you.

You have no sound, so you can’t hear your own voice.

You’re shooting in a dark or noisy place.

How is live sketching different from live cameras?

Live clip-on cameras are usually used when recording people with no microphones or other devices. Live cams are the standard for all of these situations, although it’s worth noting that live cameras are becoming more popular due to the convenience of being able to see more at once.

If you’re talking to someone at a live venue, there’s a good chance that you’ll have live speakers or audio devices that you can plug into your phone, PC, computer or anything that uses digital video.

Live cameras are meant for recording situations where a lot of people are present: concerts, sports events, sporting events, etc.

What does it cost?

With live sketches you’re giving more control and making a bigger point. It’s also much more time-consuming to do. If you don’t have time to go take a break, it’s more of a waste of a good sketch to go and record a few jokes.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation will have its biggest fall television lineup ever, covering more than 100 live and archived programs, in a bid to stay at the top of the ratings.

On Saturday, Cenation Television Group announced a full day’s worth of programming from CBC and the Toronto-based Network Ten, a partnership it first announced in July. A full-depth program guide is expected to be available for the program guide’s launch Tuesday, with programming from several of Bell Media’s smaller markets.

The network said a “massive digital audience and a robust and engaged digital customer base” will see the new lineup. (Cenation Television Group)
