If we go all the way back to the time of classical antiquity, people from all walks of life have used a dance in the manner that we have been familiar with for millennia. The dancing of the Greeks, Jews, and others who migrated to Europe, however, was very much an intellectual dance developed in the modern world. The origins of the modern social dances of Western European culture are a little different, and more varied. Perhaps the most well-known social dance in Western-Europeance is the “pantomime,” in which the dancer mimics the motions of real life. It is a complex dance practiced by the masses for ages; but it began to develop a certain prestige, and it is now considered a popular culture. Each step is made from a simple hop, a forward step with a backward step, or in a hopping dance on the ground the dancers throw the ground, or are thrown. The dancers also imitate each others movements; and thus, the “peperon” is an old dance, it is a dance that was well adapted to the time. It is also a dance of the plebeian classes.
These dances, at the same time, have a social dimension, which distinguishes them from the movements of classical dance movements. They convey a message, or a message that needs to be conveyed, to a group of people who were living very close to one another – the women, the children, or even their parents. For example, the Pteron is a dance that is practiced in order to show hospitality or affection, but this dance can also be a signal of hostility or contempt.
The Plebeians, however, were not only dance leaders — they were, in fact, dance instructors with the most complex skills. They knew how to perform a complex dance on the plebeian level with an audience
