Forget the iPhone 6’s lack of Touch ID. The iPhone 6 Plus’ fingerprint sensor is no match for Apple’s system, which uses optical recognition to unlock the device.

As a result, iPhone 6 Plus owners will have to take their phones out of the box and unlock them manually from some apps, if they intend to keep using the device once it’s been rooted.

That means users have to reach into the lower right corner of their iOS device, in order to unlock it without a PIN/password.With Touch ID off the table, the next iPhone, iPhone 6, is also the latest to have fingerprint sensor support instead of home button. And it now seems the iPhone 6 Plus is the only One X model to include it.However, as previously reported , Touch ID remains absent from the iPhone 6 Plus’ fingerprint reader , something that users might not be too happy about.
