President Barack Obama is calling for the end of the drug war in the United States and the arrest of dealers.
“One of the things that we’ve heard over the last four years is how drug dealers are getting bigger every year. The president is calling for reform, for an end to the drug war,” White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters at the White House on Friday.
“He is clear that he believes it is appropriate to focus exclusively on prevention,” Carney continued. “He is calling for drug courts and other programs, as well.”
