Who invented tattoos? – Traditional Japanese Flower Tattoo Designs

While we’re on the subject of tattoos, we should talk about this question of who invented them. It does seem like it came late to the party. But as you can probably imagine, they were a big thing. They first went mainstream in the 50s and 60s and by the early 70s they were pretty rampant. I’m told they still have a huge following.

Why do people get them now?

Tattoos are more than just a fashion statement – they have real medical, cultural, mental, and physical benefits. In many cases tattoos enhance the immune system. Tattoos have also been used to combat illnesses, including HIV / AIDS. Tasteful and affordable, tattoos are an easy-to-wear, effective way of combating the scourge of skin cancer.

Can they increase your strength ?

Most people don’t think much about tattoo thickness, but research shows that they do. A study published in 2009 conducted by researchers at the University of California found that individuals with higher levels of collagen and elasticity tend to have thicker and fuller tattoos. Other studies show that tattoo thickness is correlated to body mass index.

Should I get a tattoo?

The answer to this question depends entirely on your motivation. Should you get a tattoo if you’re sick or injured, or is there a greater benefit? Is there anyone I should avoid because of my tattoos? In either case, we want to hear from you. What about you?
